Large, plush, non-slip mat

My local stores have swopped to mystery-brand mats imported from China, and frankly, I just didn’t want to peril a fall in the tub. The old mat was beyond cleaning, so it was time for a fresh one.

This Rubbermaid mat is just what I wanted. A classic, thick, non-slip mat from a manufacturer I’ve trusted for years, embossed with a subtle wave pattern. Yes, the price is higher than the mats imported from China, but it just isn’t worth it to save a couple of dollars. Five stars for a outstanding product.

A little less heft than past mats from Rubbermaid

It is a bathmat. It keeps me from slipping in the tub. It does it is job.

But my problem with it is that the mat is not as thick and padded as former ones we have gotten from Rubbermaid. I guess that is how business works now, keep the name and price the same, and hope the clients don’t detect the diminished quality.

BUYER BEWARE – NOT A RUBBERMAID PRODUCT – PRODUCT WILL FALL APART IN A FEW MONTHS

Be conscious that this is NOT a rubbermaid product, as you might assume from the title and the rubbermaid logo on the product. Ginsey is the manufacturer, not rubbermaid. This rubbermaid knock-off from China will fall apart, (completely shred) after a few months. I never realized this and when I called Rubbermaid to request a replacement, they informed me that this is not there product…but they are well conscious of it as they get a large total of calls just like mine for this imposter product. BUYER BEWARE!!!
