4It’s helpful
By J. Vries
I am not one to be overly concerned with fashion. However, I did recognise that I did not want to be frump-o-rrific for the duration of my pregnancy so I ordered this book. It was very helpful – largely in helping me make an analyzation of what made a pregnant look heal vs. ten-like. The cool thing is that I have been capable to achieve a lot of teh styles and looks showcased in this book with accessaries I already have. I thought this book was a good reminder that pregnancy may be a fun time to show off the bump – not just try and hide it.

5Stylish and funny

This is a must-have for the mom-to-be. There are tons of utile tips, like the must-have basics, plus it gives you counsel on how to shop in your own closet (which is outstanding if you’re on a budget, like I was!). Repurposing older stuff was huge for me. (Forgive the pun.) Amy’s writing style is fun and easy to read. I’d commend this as a shower gift, exceptionally for the first-time Mom. Great book!

1Someone needs to tell this woman when it comes to feminism.

While flipping through this book, I came throughout a comment that made me put it right back on the shelf: the pregnancy glow is no pardon not to go out without makeup on. Ugh. Has anybody told this woman with regards to feminism?
This book is like reading Cosmo for pregnant women: it’s demoralizing to read and the goals are unattainable. What kind of psycho would write a book that inspires pregnant women to be penitent of their weight gain? And *heels* at the playground? WTF?
I feel sorry for her kid.
